At this time, we have paused all unaccompanied minor travel.
Customers fifteen (15) years of age, and older, are considered an adult traveler.
Customers between the ages of twelve (12) and fourteen (14) years of age may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare if the unaccompanied child guidelines are met in their entirety. The ticket must be purchased at a Peter Pan ticket counter. Online tickets are not valid for unaccompanied minor travel. Please view the unaccompanied child guidelines below.
Customers under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by a passenger seventeen (17) years of age or older at all times.
A child under two (2) years of age does not require a ticket to travel but must be secured in the adults/guardians lap for the duration of the trip for safety purposes. If traveling with more than one (1) child under the age of two (2), a ticket should be purchased for the second child and the child should be secured safely in the seat next to the guardian.
If traveling on a bus with seat belts a child safety seat is allowed for use on the bus. You should ensure that your child seat has been approved for use in a motor vehicle, and is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
If the coach has seat belts, the child safety seat can be used as long as a seat is available to accommodate the child safety seat. A ticket must be purchased at the discounted child fare if using a child safety seat on the bus.
Any customer under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by a customer seventeen (17) years of age or older at all times.
Customers between the ages of twelve (12) and fourteen (14) years of age may travel unaccompanied if all the following conditions are met:
*The trip should be direct (no transfers)
*The trip can be a maximum of 8 hours in duration (each way), between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
*The departing and arriving stations must be full serviced agencies or company operated facilities (not curbside stops) The station should be scheduled to be open when the child’s bus is scheduled to arrive. Use our bus stop location tool to help you find these important detailed
*The person named on the Unaccompanied Child Form who is meeting the child must have positive photo ID, such as a driver’s license or state-issued ID card. Without the correct ID, the child may be released into the custody of Child Protective Services or to local law enforcement
A parent, guardian or legal custodian of the child must complete and sign the Unaccompanied Child Form (available at the ticket counter) izing the child to make the trip and return this to the Customer Service Supervisor on duty. This form specifically names the person izing the trip and the person meeting the child at the destination station and the telephone number(s) at which this person may be contacted. It also provides an emergency contact name and telephone number in the event it is needed. The Unaccompanied child form is to be obtained and completed at the departure terminal on the day of departure for each trip.
Unaccompanied Children may travel on Peter Pan schedules between the following locations when meeting the above conditions:
